The Air Jordan 12 College Navy is a new colorway of the silhouette this season, and it’s part of an upcoming “International Flight” pack. The preview image above features the sneaker colored in Obsidian, and featuring a debossed flower print, while a white textured reptile mudguard is added for more luxurious touch. Finally, University Red Jumpman tongues, insole with Chinese writing on the heel tab round out the design altogether.
Dubbed the Air Jordan 12 International Flight, this new colorway of the Air Jordan 12 comes covered in a College Navy suede all throughout the upper which also features a debossed floral print. It is believed that this Jordan 12 is inspired by the Japanese flag’s rising sun design. Adding to the luxurious appearance is a Sail reptile textured mudguard that really gives the shoe a premium look. Finishing details include a graphic inner liner, Japanese lettering on the heel and hits of red on the Jumpman branding on the tongue and the “23” on the heel.

Jordan Brand has revealed the “International Flight” Air Jordan 12. In 1996, MJ took his game to Tokyo, Japan, to host a basketball clinic and participate in a friendly showcase with other NBA superstars. He was spotted in his current signature shoe at the time, the Air Jordan 12, which takes design inspiration from a vintage fashion shoe from the 1920s that utilized a radiant quilted pattern. This College Navy, University Red and Sail colorway pays homage to that experience and adds additional details including an embossed kimono print and “Air Jordan” in Japanese characters.
